Vision Questing
So you want to understand what vision questing is, right? It is being in the state of allowance. By that I mean that all of your preconceived notions or sociaitals programming is ether wore out of you through exhaustion or through herbs or other psycho actives. The whole idea is to get yourself out of the way so you can be guided to answers or energies that you may want to tap into. Maybe you want to open a channel to a different realm. With Vision quest you can learn to do this. Once you are in this energy that is customized by you you can tap into it anytime you wish.
Let me tell you of a recent vision quest in Sept 2009. A young lady had questions on which way her life was going. Now she was doing very good work on balancing her triad and had delt with many emotional blocks but, there were some that she kept holding onto. Every-time she went to let go ether fear of the unknown or comfort of the dysfunction would take over. This was deep cellular embedding and it was decided to vision quest. First, is a fast that she started the day before we left, only water was allowed. Second was gauging the physical. Would she need to be taken on a day hike or would she be strong enough for that. In this woman's case, she was not. Now, strong herbal tinctures were made and the visions were encouraged by rapid tone drumming, rushing water, and the blazing sun. This segment was broken into phases for this lady and took roughly about twelve hours. The fast time was about forty-eight hours and I offer something very nutritious but simple as not to take your attention away from your quest. This gal ended up releasing her blockages, receiving an answer to her life question and in her allowance also received a gift that she now uses effectively to help others. Everyone is different but the common goal is the same. Get yourself out of the way and get into a state of allowance.
When asked would this woman go on another Vision Quest she responded by going the very next weekend. That statement alone states how powerful these quests are.
