Harmonic Meditation
The Harmonics Meditation at Lifes Balance is a unique blend of relaxation, focused mind centering, and music. Let us go through these points gradually. Please remember that as we step through this form of meditation you do not have to have any meditative experience to participate. It is easy, simple, and relaxing. It does not matter at what level your health is; this practice will improve it over all by introducing healing tones into the body which harmonize your individual energy.
1. Many people bring their own pillow, blanket, and wear
comfortable clothes. The mats provided are in a circle surrounding a
centerpiece of stones that have been cleared and charged with healing
Reiki Energy. The stones help with clearing, grounding,
and opening up your all your chakras also known as the energy centers
of your physical body.
2. After you are settled, each person stands in the back of the room
where tuning forks or Tibetan bell frequencies are used to line up
and balance your chakras. This process assists in relaxation and
prepares you for meditation. Sometimes our Shaman uses Reiki and
energy point work to assist those in emotional or physical stress for
balance.
3. We prepare for the main meditation with a light stretching of the
body and our Shaman relays what is happening with the energy in our
solar system and how we are affected by it.
4. It is time to meditate. While lying on a mat, our Shaman uses her
voice to calm and relax you by taking you on journey, incorporating
the water elements and the tree of life in the meditation area. (Note;
the tree of life was hand drawn on an entire wall of our meditation
area by our Shaman. This work of art is intricately detailed and by
following the flow of it with your eyes, you will begin to clear your
mind.)
5. The music chosen for each night has the entire group's energy
considered. The different harmonies are channeled and arranged by our
Shaman. The tones bring forth emotional healing, physical healing,
total body, mind, spirit balance and lasts from 45-60 min.
6. Finally, the Tibetan singing bowl is played to bring you back into the
physical and drumming seals the grounding process. Discussion of your
personal experience is welcomed but not required.
